One tool for many applications. I have been looking for such a versatile and high quality tool for a long time. Notwithstanding lofty price (high quality handmade tools do cost more than mass produced tools) I placed my order and can’t wait to use this axe.

I usually use olive or hemp oils to take care of the wooden part of my Viking axe. I wasn’t sure if I’m not damaging the shaft. After a few years it’s still like new.

Next time I will put the whole head in a bucket for 30 min or something to get a really deep etch.
